Welcome to Nomad! A Mongolian restaurant meant to serve hearty and warm meals in a hearty and warm environment!

This project challenged me to study a culture I knew very little about prior to the execution of this exercise. I looked closely at the materials, colors and styles used by the nomadic groups that live in the Gobi Desert regions of Mongolia. The simplicity found in the beautifully rounded tents and stone structures used by these nomads is so elegant and comforting. These were the elements I strove to retain in my design.
